Hammers and Immutability

Sometimes seemingly simple ideas turn out to be so overpowered that everything does look like a nail.

Emil Hernvall

I currently specialize in application-level security, in particular in relation to automated threats (i.e. bot mitigation). I have a broad sets of skills that I have acquired over the years, which include frontend, backend, mobile, desktop, network programming, graphics programming and data science. Although I’m proficient in a about a dozen languages, my preferred language is Rust, which I’ve been using full time since 2018.
I lead complex engineering projects. Much of my day to day revolves around resolving ambiguity. I enjoy mentoring, and try to spend as much time as possible on guiding junior engineers.
